Learn how to disable FRP for your Android device:

The instructions below should teach you how to manually disable the Factory Reset Protection for your Android phone or tablet.

This process should be used in case you have configured a default Google account for your device, and now you're looking to sell or gift your device to someone else.

If you decide to gift your Android device to another person and you forgot to remove FRP, then they cannot use the phone with their own Google account. So, you should always remember to remove the FRP from your device before passing it on to a 3rd party.

  1. Unlock your device.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Cloud and Accounts, or Accounts.
The name of the option differs from the Android OS version you run on your device.
  4. Go to Accounts list.
  5. Remove all your Google Accounts.
  6. After you have managed to remove the accounts from your phone, then you have to Factory Reset the phone.
  7. When you have managed to remove the Google Account you simply have to reboot the phone.
The next Google account that will be added to the Android device will become the main phone administrator.
